Golf Outing Recap
The Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter welcomed attendees to its 41st Annual Charitable Golf Outing on May 13th at the Blue Ash Golf Course.
This event is held to raise funds for educational financial assistance in the form of $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students. The Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter awarded five scholarships this year to family members of our Chapter members and a Gamma Iota Sigma student. Congratulations to the recipients!
At the 41st Annual Charitable Golf Outing, the Chapter’s members and guests experienced fun, food, competition, and prizes. Please view our photo album for a glimpse at some of the activities!
After a great day of golf, networking, fundraising, and dinner, there were various awards presented to the golfers. Congratulations!
- The 1st place team winning the "Team Challenge Cup" trophy was Chris Getz, Justin Rivet, Adam Latulippe, and Zach Foxx (pictured).
- The Ladies Longest Drive winner was Dana Osborne.
- The Ladies Closest-To-The-Pin winner was Tracey Link,
- The Men’s Closest-To-The-Pin winner was Aidan Byrne.
- The Men’s Longest Drive winner was Mark Van Houten.
We also had many excited winners of our raffle baskets and split-the-pot prize. Thank you to all of the golf outing and fundraising participants!
We had over 120 people in attendance. We collected over $3,100 from the golf outing fundraising efforts on the day of the event. Thank you for making this year such a successful event to support the insurance industry and our scholarship funds! We hope you had a wonderful time.

2024 Scholarship Recipients

- Josie Pedoto – Daughter of Anthony and Jessica Pedoto. Josie is a current student at The Ohio State University
- Audrey Minnix – Daughter of Shane Minnix. Audrey will be attending Xavier University of the Fall
- Francie Pedoto – Daughter of Anthony and Jessica Pedoto. Francie is a current student at The Ohio State University
- Kinsey Sullivan – Daughter of Christopher and Meghan Sullivan. Kinsey will be attending the University of Notre Dame in the Fall
- Andy Boros – (Gamma Iota Sigma) is a student at the University of Cincinnati

Yup, you heard it! A perfect weather day at the golf course included an amazing hole-in-one shot at the "Challenge the Pro" Hole for Drew Barker.
